Carpentry represents the art of building or assembling different elements, standardized or custom-made, to create structures that can be fixed or mobile, temporary or permanent.
In the field of light metal carpentry, Canfora stands out for its extraordinary application versatility, the result of the immense experience accumulated through three generations of metal craftsmen.
Over time, production diversification, investment in innovative and technologically advanced machinery, constant professional updating, continuous experimentation, multiple production lines, the availability of an internal warehouse, the high level of staff expertise, and an industrial approach have allowed and still allow the company to routinely handle large volumes or high production repetitions, scrupulously respecting timelines and defining delivery terms with extreme precision.
The complete traceability of each processing and the attention dedicated to customers allows Canfora to develop a strong loyalty bond with those who rely on our carpentry services. For the aforementioned reasons, our carpentry has vertically integrated and differentiated itself, compared to most other carpentry shops, by providing services to companies that require a considerable number of batches or kits in a short time.
Our inventory is efficiently organized and safeguarded against stockouts through digital management, allowing us to fulfill orders immediately.
Light metal fabrication is an activity involving the assembly and mounting of customized metal components, aimed at creating structures that can be fixed or mobile.
For their creation, various materials are processed and, in the case of our Fabrication shop, primarily iron, but also steel and other metals such as aluminum.
In the world of fabrication, there are two main categories: light and heavy. The distinction between these two types lies mainly in the manufacturing process and the nature of the materials used.
In particular, the light fabrication we perform is dedicated to creating non-load-bearing metal structures, characterized by a lower weight compared to those of heavy fabrication, while still ensuring robustness and resistance.
The great versatility of light fabrication allows for the creation of custom elements, adaptable to various aesthetic and functional needs. Each work process must comply with rigorous safety and stability standards, while ensuring high precision.
A distinctive element of light fabrication is the possibility of enhancing the aesthetic appearance of structures, offering customized solutions with creative elements when required.
The term “fabrication” indicates the activity of constructing and assembling elements, which can be made not only of metal. This is why, in the specific case of the work carried out by Canfora, we speak of metal fabrication, as we work with iron, stainless steel, and aluminum.
We shape our clients' projects by combining a century of experience
with the technological innovation that defines us.
The methodical approach adopted by Canfora, combined with deep knowledge of materials and automation of assembly lines through mechatronic systems, allows for maintaining material deformation tolerances significantly lower than the average of traditional productions.
This precision remains constant in every production series thanks to the use of robotic systems.
Canfora carpentry offers integrated production for the creation of various materials and to meet multiple needs. In particular, our light metal carpentry embraces different creations: metal boxes, shelving, frames and structures, gates and railings, supporting structures, and much more.
Thanks to our experience and internal design department, we are able to transform conceptual ideas into concrete realities. Additionally, the numerous workstations dedicated to processing guarantee speed of execution, operational flexibility, and cost optimization.
A specialized department is dedicated to robotic assembly and welding operations, with final quality controls. WPS processes are certified, as is the personnel, who operate in accordance with regulations.
Our workflows and various lines are structured for the creation of numerous series of manufactured products, optimizing time and remaining material once production is launched.
In case the designs are not provided, our in-house team handles the design and the first prototypes of the parts to be produced, starting from raw material.
We have in-depth knowledge of our work and of industrial workflows
for high-volume production lines.
In the field of light fabrication, the commonly processed materials are steel, iron, and aluminum. Metal sheets of lesser thickness are used compared to those employed in heavy fabrication.
The final products can include fire escapes, iron staircases, canopies, packaging cages, and other types of manufactured goods.
The structures produced in light fabrication are often applied in civil or industrial contexts, such as gates, doors, and fences.
Canfora boasts consolidated experience in the iron fabrication sector.
The company handles the creation of insulated cabins, boxes, and tanks for companies and public entities, taking care of every phase of the production process: from initial design to final realization.
Canfora is capable of producing high-quality aluminum fabrication, regardless of the final application sector.
All phases of laminate processing are performed internally, starting from cutting the materials, including deformation processes, assembly and welding, up to the finished product.
Thanks to highly qualified personnel, Canfora designs and produces stainless steel components based on the specific needs of the client.
The company constantly follows the evolution of technologies and production processes to offer effective experiences and innovations that contribute to customer competitiveness, providing support in product development and research for the most advantageous industrialization solutions.
In the Canfora facility, cutting-edge technologies are employed to ensure excellent results. Among the main ones:
These tools allow for the creation of aesthetically refined and structurally solid products, always respecting the required technical specifications.
Our machines are capable of roll bending sheet metal up to 2 meters wide and 10 mm thick. Equipped with modern numerical control, they allow us to shape sheet metal into complex geometries.
Our presses have a machine power of 170 tons and can bend up to 4 meters. We have a complete assortment of punches and dies to quickly handle daily challenges that require fast turnaround times.
The multi-axis welding robot facilitates access to the weld joint, ensuring an optimal weld pool and guaranteeing consistent welding quality during continuous 24-hour operation.
As with any fabrication shop, the only limit to Canfora’s work is transportation.
However, thanks to the company’s distinctive qualities, activities are not limited to the city of Turin and its province but extend to customers from Val d’Aosta, Liguria, or Novara.
The company’s qualitative characteristics and production methods are aimed at companies or public administrations intending to produce high volumes or series.
We do not perform work for private clients.
